Day 6:

Phong Nha – DMZ - Hue

Begins your travelling today with a couple of hours driving through the countryside in central provinces to Vinh Moc tunnels in DMZ. Local people built this tunnel when the War took place in Vinh Moc from 1966 to 1972. The locals began to dig tunnels in 1965 and finished in 1967 with simple tools in 18,000 labour days. The total length of the tunnels is nearly 2,000 meters long, with six entrances to the tops of hills and seven doors to the sea. Arrive around 10:30 am, and then you will have an experienced local guide accompanied to visit these tunnels. After the visit, a further drive takes you to Cua Tung Beach to have a seafood lunch at a lovely local restaurant. Next, today's travelling to one of the famous historic sites located in the 17 parallel, Ben Hai River, divided the country into two regions until the Vietnam War ended in 1975. You will visit the Museum of Hien Luong Bridge then take a walk on the bridge with many photos captures. Followed the itinerary planned, enjoy authentic drives to the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel via Dong Ha City. Here is the final well-known battle in DMZ with 81 days in 1972 between North Vietnamese Communists and South Vietnamese Army. Finally, you enjoy a pretty view and a stunning beach on a coastal drive to Hue City.
