Quy Nhon – Sa Quynh
We start the day ride with a vehicle transfer out of the city—just a 20-minute drive over Thi Ngai, the longest sea bridge to in Vietnam. Pick up the bike and be ready to explore beautiful lagoons and sand dunes along the peninsula for a long day. The scenery along the routes is so beautiful, with tiny villages in the lowland as you gaze down from the ways and colorful temples and pagodas. Then, ride past dunes, and undulating concrete roads, most on narrow pathways through agricultural lands running alongside the river to Cat Tien. Take the right turn on the coast, where you can see the giant Buddha statue on the mountain, next to the Viet Cong cemetery. It's a nice place to have a water stop with plenty of photos.
Continue your adventurous ride on the coast, climb up some minor hills, enjoy mountainous scenery, and ride down to lush farmlands. Keep cycling past many fishing villages and sandy beaches, stop at the town for a coffee break, have fruits and snacks, and get more water for the next stop. Follow a small concrete road, ride through many rustic villages and farms where you stop off some, learn more about rural life, and experience fish farming. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant at the small fishing village.
Afterward, you continue the authentic way on the coastal route, crossing through salt fields and crouching markets that sell fresh fish directly from the sea. Carry on the ride to another colorful fishing village with hundreds of fishing sampans and circular boats. It is perfect for walking around for photos taken and meeting villagers. Then continue cycling or biking on the coast route, passing many shrimp farms and fish before following the small concrete paths leading to a beautiful lagoon. Enjoy cycling on the lakeside and views the peaceful landscape, with mountains around. Leave the lagoon behind and continue onwards to Tam Quan. Ride through the countryside and magnificent mountain views, and climb up small hills before exploring the homeland of coconut plantations. The last part allows you to get more pictures, meet friendly locals, and cross through rustic villages on the way to Tam Quan.
Then, rest on vehicle transfer 20 minutes to Sa Huynh beach resort.
