Binh Dong – Hoi An
The next destination is an ancient town- Hoi An, the first central Southeast Asian trading post in the 16th and 17th centuries, where many Chinese and Japanese immigrants settled. Hoi An is one of the fantastic places to stay and learn Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cham's old-age culture and spend your own as pleasure time. The town where your trip will end up, and you can keep staying there a couple of days before your travel schedule continues onwards.
Enjoy breakfast, and you commence your last day of cycling adventure from the hotel. We follow the narrow street running along the River to the sea, cross the River on Tra Bong bridge, take a left-right turn on a short route to the coast of Dung Quat, and continue riding on a 9 km stunning ocean road before we off the main road. Then you undulate on the narrow road, past lush agricultural lands to a small town by the sea. Enjoy two ferry boats crossing the river mounts with short cycling through the Tam Hai tiny island. See numerous colorful fishing boats when you are on a ferry crossing river. Most locals here live mainly on fishing and seafood farming.
Then you continue the ride, and enjoy the dirt road biking along the Truong Giang River. The River and its branches offer terrific views of bamboo boats, wooden boats, and small fishing villages. The family members are very busy when fishing boats come back. Fishermen's wives help them hang the fish to dry some, primarily fresh, are for sale. We have lunch in Tam Thanh- a local beach. We spend more time exploring the lush farmland rice paddies and less time on coastal fishing routes, enjoying the idyllic scenery of rustic villages along the Truong Giang River. In the late afternoon, you explore the backwaters of Thu Bon River, particularly the Cam Kim island that the iconic carpentry and traditional woodcarving. The island is famous for old villages, old-fashioned agricultural irrigation canals, and small fishing villages with colorful fishing sampans amongst water palms. It's a terrific chance to explore the hidden charm villages, thatch houses, buffaloes on rice fields, bamboo bridges and removed villages. Finally, we cross Thu Bon River on Cam Kim Bridge to Hoi An.
